Influence of Classroom Colour Environment on College Students’ Emotions during Campus Lockdown in the COVID-19 Post-Pandemic Era—A Case Study in Harbin, China

Campus lockdown during COVID-19 and the post-pandemic era has had a huge negative effect on college students. As vital part of interior teaching spaces, colour deeply influences students’ mental health can be used for healing. Nevertheless, research this topic been limited. Based psychology therapy, paper discusses relationship between space colours (hue brightness) emotions among The HAD scale questionnaire survey method were used. It was concluded that: (1) Anxiety depression prominent student population quarantine university due to epidemic. (2) Warm have an advantage over both cold neutral in creating pleasure, relaxation, attention, with second line being last neutral. make it pleasant individuals while boost attention. (3) When subjects higher values anxiety depression, they are less satisfied space. (4) In most cases, there is no significant difference preference spaces across gender, grade, major groups, females having warm high-brightness classrooms than males. These findings provide crucial ideas future design enrich theories psychology.
